Northern Migrant Resource Centre

The SMRC’s Multicultural Home Support Service is an award winning specialist multilingual service for frail aged people and people with disabilities. The program is committed to providing a quality, culturally responsive service. This unique service assists elderly and disabled migrants to live independently in their own homes.

In addition to a large pool of bilingual workers assisting people in their homes, the Multicultural Home Support Service consists of a team of office based staff that include a Coordinator and a number of Care Administrators who are very experienced in working with people who are frail aged or have a disability and have specific cultural and language needs.
