Assistance to Ethnic Community Groups

The MRC involves itself in many regional community development activities with refugee and migrant communities, to assist these communities to build their capacity to be well organised and to have effective representative bodies.

In addition, the following services are available:

  • Use of MRC rooms free of charge for un-funded community groups and associations
  • Information Sessions
  • Assistance with filling in grant applications
  • Being the fund-holder for grant applications (auspicing funding)
  • Hire of MRC office space to funded organisations
  • Assistance with filling in grant applications
  • Being the fund-holder for grant applications
  • Hire of MRC office space to funded organisations
